Idemitsu Renewables‘ Azalea Photo voltaic and Storage Mission achieved industrial operation on December 31, bringing 60 MW photo voltaic and 38 MWAC/152 MWh storage capability to Kern County, California.

Azalea will ship clear renewable vitality to the California grid beneath a long-term energy buy settlement with Sonoma Clear Energy Authority (SCP). The ability combines PV know-how with battery storage to extend grid stability and optimize vitality supply throughout peak demand intervals.
