UGE begins commercial operation of 16-MW multi-state solar portfolio

UGE introduced that it has reached business operation (COD) on six new photo voltaic initiatives totaling 16 MW. The initiatives embody UGE’s first two neighborhood photo voltaic initiatives in Maryland; its first neighborhood photo voltaic mission in Oregon, a second municipal PPA mission in Texas; and two neighborhood photo voltaic initiatives in Maine. With the completion of those six initiatives, UGE’s working portfolio now stands at 24 MW, with initiatives working throughout six states.

The Maryland, Oregon, and Maine initiatives will all be part of their respective states’ neighborhood photo voltaic applications, bringing cheaper, cleaner electrical energy to households and companies that aren’t capable of set up photo voltaic on their very own rooftops.
