Ford Vitality, the brand new stationary storage subsidiary of Ford Motor Firm, has signed a five-year, 20-GWh provide settlement with EDF Power Solutions. Deliveries are anticipated to start in 2028.

Ford formally launched its stationary energy storage business earlier this month. The corporate is changing an EV manufacturing plant in Kentucky to provide elements for its 5-MWh DC Block BESS.
