Illinois’s first group photo voltaic undertaking to be mixed with a battery vitality storage system in Ameren Illinois territory is now on-line. A similar project was lately introduced on-line in ComEd territory.

Located in Beardstown, Illinois, the 6.9-MW Beard Photo voltaic undertaking is paired with an 11.9-MWh vitality storage system owned by Equity Solar Illinois (ESI) and developed and designed in a collaboration between undertaking developer US Photo voltaic and battery integrator Eneon-ES.
